In order to face the world’s open markets and the ASEAN economic community, it is necessary to prepare facilities and infrastructure from the national industry, especially the Non-Bank financial industry (IKBN). One of the preparations needed is the availability of quality and ready-to-use human resources, especially for professional actuaries,<\/p>\n
In line with this, in mid-2013 the Financial Services Authority (OJK) launched an accelerated program to increase the number of actuaries or often referred to as the “1000 Actuaries program”. This program has the main objective of accelerating the number of actuaries so that the estimated professional needs for actuaries for the Non-Bank Financial Industry (IKNB) can be met and IKNB is ready to face the open markets of ASEAN and the world.<\/p>\n
In this regard, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) is holding a \u201c1000 Actuaries Program Seminar\u201d at:<\/p>\n

\nPlace: The Pade Hotel, Jalan Soekarno Hatta
\nNo.1 Daroy Kameu Village, Kameu District, Aceh Besar<\/p>\n
The 1000 Actuaries Team has 3 (three) Subteams with their respective duties as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. \n
    Subteam A: Socialization and Promotion<\/p>\n
      \n
    • \n
      Conduct outreach regarding the actuarial profession, including through campaigns\/seminars and posters\/leaflets;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Campaigning for the implementation of scholarship programs by insurance companies; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Conduct visits\/socialization to educational institutions, especially universities, to explore cooperation in organizing or equalizing courses within the framework of the 1000 actuaries program.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Subteam B: Acceleration of Actuarial Professional Certificate<\/p>\n
        \n
      • \n
        Making various efforts to accelerate actuary professional certification, including by expanding the program to include professional exams and implementing the Actuary Certification Short Lecture Program.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

        Subteam C: Increasing Actuarial Capacity<\/p>\n
