{"id":44572,"date":"2025-02-05T17:45:32","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T10:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmipa.usk.ac.id\/web\/?p=44572"},"modified":"2025-02-05T17:45:33","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T10:45:33","slug":"statistics-fmipa-usk-undergoes-field-assessment-by-lamsama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmipa.usk.ac.id\/web\/2025\/02\/05\/statistics-fmipa-usk-undergoes-field-assessment-by-lamsama\/","title":{"rendered":"Statistics FMIPA USK Undergoes Field Assessment by LAMSAMA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Banda Aceh \u2013 The Bachelor&#8217;s Program in Statistics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), underwent a field assessment by the <strong>Independent Accreditation Agency for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA)<\/strong> on <strong>February 3\u20134, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dean of FMIPA-USK, <strong>Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si, M.Tech<\/strong>, warmly welcomed the assessment team and emphasized that <strong>the UPPS team and the Department of Statistics are fully prepared to carry out the field assessment with full commitment<\/strong>. He also expressed his hope that this assessment would further strengthen the academic quality and management of study programs within FMIPA-USK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The assessors assigned to this evaluation were <strong>Prof. Roberd Saragih, M.T.<\/strong> from the <strong>Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB)<\/strong> and <strong>Prof. Admi Nazra, M.Si., M.Sc.<\/strong> from <strong>Andalas University<\/strong>. This process included <strong>interviews with faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, students, alumni, and industry partners<\/strong> to gain a holistic understanding of the academic sustainability of the Statistics Program. Additionally, the assessors conducted direct inspections of <strong>academic support facilities<\/strong>, such as <strong>laboratories, classrooms, and the USK Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit<\/strong>, to ensure that the infrastructure is well-equipped to support the learning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This assessment is a crucial step in the Statistics Program\u2019s ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality and ensure that its graduates possess competencies that meet the demands of the job market.
