Banda Aceh, August 2, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The Government of Aceh, through the Provincial Education Office, reaffirmed its strong commitment to improving education quality by organizing the STEM-C (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Creativity) Learning Training<\/em>. The four-day program, held from July 30 to August 2, 2025, at Hotel Mita Mulia, Banda Aceh, successfully gathered 20 selected teachers from various districts and cities across Aceh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening Ceremony at FMIPA-USK Senate Hall<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The official opening took place at the Senate Hall of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). The event was attended by FMIPA Dean, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si, M.Tech, along with the Head of the Aceh Education Office, Marthunis, S.T., D.E.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his remarks, Marthunis underlined the urgency of equipping teachers with new skills to meet the demands of 21st-century education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe believe that inspirational and empowering education will be the key to shaping a generation of Acehnese youth who are both excellent and of strong character,\u201d<\/em> he emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, FMIPA Dean, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si, M.Tech, highlighted the significance of FMIPA\u2019s involvement as part of USK\u2019s broader mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goals and Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The training aimed to provide teachers with the ability to integrate the STEM-C approach into their teaching practices. By combining science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and creativity, the method is expected to nurture students\u2019 critical thinking, collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding and Participants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This program was fully funded by the Aceh Education Office through the 2025 DPA-SKPA budget. The participants were carefully selected teachers who had undergone a competitive process, ensuring maximum outcomes for education quality improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long-Term Impact and Expectations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The training is expected to transform teaching quality in Aceh\u2014moving beyond mastery of subject matter toward fostering creativity, character, and essential 21st-century skills. This initiative lays the foundation for producing innovative and competitive human resources, ready to face the challenges of the digital era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
