Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia<\/strong> \u2013 A group of students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), are currently participating in the Student Mobility Program<\/strong> at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)<\/strong> one of Malaysia\u2019s leading universities ranked within the Top 200 of the QS World University Rankings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This academic mobility aims to broaden students\u2019 global perspectives, enhance research collaboration, and strengthen cultural understanding between Indonesia and Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indonesian delegation is accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ichwana, S.T., M.P.<\/strong> and Dr. Alia Rizki, S.Si., M.Sc.<\/strong>, who serve as academic supervisors throughout the program. Their involvement underscores USK\u2019s commitment to ensuring that students gain valuable academic and intercultural experiences during their overseas study activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program takes place at UTM\u2019s Faculty of Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>, renowned for its excellence in computer science, data analytics, and emerging digital technologies. Throughout the program, students from FMIPA USK attended lectures and hands-on sessions on information technology advancements, artificial intelligence applications, and the latest trends in digital innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to academic sessions, participants joined a campus tour<\/strong> to explore UTM\u2019s advanced laboratories, innovation centers, and research facilities. This provided students with firsthand insight into how UTM integrates technology, creativity, and research to achieve global academic excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis program offers a remarkable opportunity for our students to experience international learning in one of the world\u2019s top universities,\u201d said Dr. Alia Rizki, S.Si., M.Sc.<\/strong>, lecturer at FMIPA USK and one of the accompanying faculty members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She continued, \u201cThrough this mobility, students not only deepen their understanding of artificial intelligence but also develop a global mindset that will prepare them for future challenges in science and technology.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Student Mobility Program between FMIPA USK and UTM also serves as a reciprocal visit<\/strong>, following the earlier participation of UTM Geography students in similar activities at Universitas Syiah Kuala. This ongoing exchange marks a strengthening of academic ties and a shared commitment to advancing cross-border education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the program, FMIPA students engage in various interactive sessions, including discussions on the application of AI in sustainable development, collaborative research design, and cultural sharing with Malaysian students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Ichwana, S.T., M.P. expressed appreciation for the warm welcome extended by UTM\u2019s Faculty of Artificial Intelligence. \u201cPrograms like this play a strategic role in shaping globally competent graduates. Our students are not only learning new technologies but also understanding how science contributes to society at a global scale,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Student Mobility Program progresses, USK students demonstrate high enthusiasm and curiosity embodying the spirit of young scientists ready to innovate and collaborate across borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
