Banda Aceh, October 22, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The Rector of Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan<\/strong>, officially received the Integrated Service Unit (ULT)<\/strong> Application from the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) USK, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si., M.Si., M.Tech.<\/strong>, in a symbolic handover ceremony held at the USK Rectorate Building. The ULT application has been implemented and utilized at FMIPA USK as part of the Integrity Zone (ZI)<\/strong> program. The event was also attended by the University Secretary, Dr. Teuku Meldi Kesuma, S.E., M.M.; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Achievements of FMIPA, Dr. Ir. Wira Dharma, M.Si., M.P.;<\/strong> and the Head of USK ICT Center (UPT TIK), Razief Perucha Fauzie Afidh, S.Si., M.Sc.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FMIPA USK is the first faculty<\/strong> within the university to establish and develop a faculty-level Integrated Service Unit (ULT). The initiative to build the ULT application began when FMIPA USK was appointed as an Integrity Zone implementing unit<\/strong> in mid-2021, under the leadership of Dean Prof. Dr. T.M. Iqbalsyah, M.Sc.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Integrity Zone (ZI)<\/strong> program is part of the bureaucratic reform<\/strong> effort aimed at realizing a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK)<\/strong> and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM)<\/strong> within USK. Through this application, FMIPA\u2019s ULT has integrated 13 types of services<\/strong>, covering academic, student affairs, and administrative matters, such as diploma and transcript legalization, academic leave applications,<\/strong> and various other services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ULT services at FMIPA are supported by 21 administrative staff members<\/strong> from each study program who have received specialized training<\/strong> to ensure excellent service for students, lecturers, and the public. According to Prof. Taufik<\/strong>, the ULT is a sustainable service<\/strong> that requires a long process and comprehensive readiness from all parties to ensure that the quality of service provided is truly excellent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USK Rector Prof. Marwan<\/strong> expressed his highest appreciation<\/strong> for FMIPA\u2019s initiative in developing and handing over the ULT application to the university so that it can be further expanded at the USK level and utilized by all faculties and schools within USK. He emphasized that the implementation of the Integrity Zone<\/strong> is a collective responsibility<\/strong> for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe presence of the ULT marks an important step and a challenge for USK, as the Integrity Zone program is now implemented across all faculties, and FMIPA has demonstrated a real example in its execution,\u201d said the Rector of USK.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The FMIPA ULT application<\/strong> will serve as a model for integrated service implementation<\/strong> that can be adopted by all faculties at USK, maintained, and further developed by the USK ICT Center (UPT TIK)<\/strong> in line with USK\u2019s commitment to strengthening transparent, efficient governance<\/strong> and promoting high-quality public service delivery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>, particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions<\/strong>, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure<\/strong>, by fostering transparent governance, institutional integrity, and digital innovation within the higher education sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
