Therefore, this activity emphasized the importance of changes in mindset and work culture (culture set) oriented toward integrity, professionalism, transparency, and accountability.

In his remarks, the Dean of FMIPA USK, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si., M.Tech., emphasized that the development of an Integrity Zone is not merely the fulfillment of administrative requirements, but rather a continuous effort to build a work culture grounded in the values of honesty and responsibility.

“The development of the Integrity Zone must be understood as a moral and collective commitment of the entire FMIPA USK academic community. Integrity should not only be reflected in documents, but must be evident in behavior, decision-making processes, and the services provided to students and the public,” said Prof. Taufik.

Furthermore, Prof. Taufik added that the success of the Integrity Zone development is highly dependent on the active involvement of all elements within the faculty, including leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff.

“Each individual has a strategic role as an agent of change. Through cooperation and shared commitment, we can create a professional, transparent, and accountable work environment, thereby maintaining public trust in FMIPA USK,” he added.

In addition to conveying leadership commitment, the activity also served as a platform for socializing anti-corruption values and strengthening understanding of clean, service-oriented public service principles. All participants expressed their support for the implementation of the Integrity Zone by upholding integrity values in every academic and administrative activity.

Through the development of this Integrity Zone, FMIPA USK affirms its readiness to continuously improve and enhance the quality of institutional governance. This effort is expected not only to positively impact the faculty’s internal performance, but also to contribute to the realization of bureaucratic reform within Universitas Syiah Kuala as a whole.

Going forward, FMIPA USK is committed to continuously evaluating and strengthening the implementation of the Integrity Zone in a sustainable manner, so that the goal of achieving a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) can be realized and its benefits felt by the entire academic community and the wider public.

Banda Aceh – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) continues to strengthen its commitment to realizing clean and integrity-driven institutional governance through the implementation of activities for the Development of an Integrity Zone Toward a Corruption-Free Area (Wilayah Bebas dari Korupsi/WBK).
