Banda Aceh \u2014 A remarkable achievement has once again been recorded by students of the Pharmacy Professional Education Program (PSPPA), Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala. All participants who took part in the National Competency Examination for Pharmacy Professional Students (UKOMNAS PDPA) in 2026 successfully passed, reaching a perfect 100 percent pass rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national examination, held on March 1, 2026, by the ad hoc committee, is a crucial milestone for pharmacy professional students before officially earning the title of pharmacist. UKOMNAS PDPA is designed to assess the competency standards of pharmacy students across Indonesia and serves as a primary requirement to practice professionally in the pharmaceutical field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head of PSPPA FMIPA USK, Tedy Kurniawan Bakri, M.Farm., Apt., expressed his pride and appreciation for the achievement. He emphasized that this success reflects the strong synergy between students, lecturers, and internship partners involved in the Pharmacy Professional Practice Program (PKPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis achievement is clear evidence of the dedication, hard work, and commitment of all parties in maintaining educational quality. We continuously strive to ensure our graduates are well-prepared to compete at the national level,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dean of FMIPA USK, Taufik Fuadi Abidin, also conveyed his appreciation for this outstanding accomplishment. He highlighted that the result demonstrates the high standard of education consistently maintained within the faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very proud of this 100 percent pass rate. It shows that our educational system, mentoring, and facilities are capable of producing highly competent and competitive graduates. We hope that USK pharmacy graduates will contribute significantly to the healthcare sector, both locally and nationally,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further added that this success is supported by a continuously updated curriculum aligned with advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and the needs of the healthcare industry. Adequate facilities, including modern laboratories, an OSCE Center, and well-established PKPA sites, play a crucial role in preparing students for the competency examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, structured and intensive mentoring programs have helped students prepare optimally, both theoretically and practically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this outstanding achievement, PSPPA FMIPA USK further strengthens its position as one of the leading pharmacy education programs in Indonesia.
