BANDA ACEH<\/strong> \u2013 The leadership dynamics at Syiah Kuala University (USK) continue to evolve. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at USK is now entering a new chapter after the Rector of Syiah Kuala University, Prof. Dr. Mirza Tabrani, S.E., M.B.A., D.B.A., officially inaugurated Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Ilham Maulana, S.Si., as the new Dean of FMIPA for the upcoming term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The oath-taking and inauguration ceremony took place solemnly on Monday, July 13, 2026. This inauguration marks the passing of the leadership baton from the previous official, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si., M.Tech., who has completed his tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire academic community of FMIPA USK expresses its highest appreciation and gratitude to Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si., M.Tech., for all the dedication, integrity, and hard work contributed during his time as Dean. During his leadership, the faculty achieved various milestones in the development of the Tri Dharma<\/em> (Three Pillars) of higher education and strengthened institutional governance to be more transparent and accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the inauguration of Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Ilham Maulana, S.Si., brings a new sense of optimism to academic development within FMIPA USK. With a distinguished academic track record, Prof. Ilham Maulana is expected to bring fresh perspectives and innovations relevant to the challenges of higher education in the current digital era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his directives, this new leadership is expected to focus on strengthening research, enhancing the quality of graduates to be globally competitive, and fostering deeper collaborations with both industries and international educational institutions. This focus is in line with the grand vision of USK to continuously elevate the university’s reputation on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
