A number of lecturers, students and alumni of the Diploma Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) Syiah Kuala University (Unsyiah) paid a visit to SMK Negeri 1 Al Mubarkeya Want Jaya Aceh Besar . The visit to the school located in Kayee Lheu Lambaro was carried out on Tuesday (27/3). Led by senior lecturer from the D-III Informatics Management Study Program Rasudin MIT, the group was warmly welcomed by Principal Baihaqi SPd MPd in his office.
The arrival of the team from the MIPA Faculty aims to introduce the Diploma Study Program at the Unsyiah MIPA Faculty, namely D-III Information Management and D-III Electronics Engineering. This school, which was built with assistance from the Kuwaiti state, has 2 computer departments, namely Computer and Network Engineering and Software Engineering.
The meeting with students from the two departments was held in the hall of SMK Negeri 1 Al Mubarkeya. Coordinator of the D-III Informatics Management Study Program Juwita MKom started the event by conveying the purpose of the arrival of the team from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unsyiah. In front of hundreds of students and teachers, Juwita also introduced all the team members present. An introduction to the Diploma Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences was delivered by Rasudin MIT. This event ended with a question session.
These two study programs have been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) with a rating of B. The teaching staff are graduates from well-known universities both at home and abroad. Many graduates have worked in various government and private agencies both in Aceh and outside Aceh such as in Medan, Pekanbaru, Jakarta, Semarang, Ambon and Natuna..(mz)
