Dean Greets all FMIPA students for the 2018/2019 Academic Year

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.
Time has passed very quickly and the even semester of the 2018/2019 Academic Year has arrived. I would like to welcome back all new students of the FMIPA Masters, Bachelor and Diploma programs in this new semester.

Even semester lectures start on February 4 2019 and will last until May 31 2019. God willing, the final exam will be held after Eid al-Fitr. We hope that all students and lecturers can start studying from the first week and remain enthusiastic until this semester ends.

Especially for lecturers, we really hope that learning will be carried out as well as possible, referring to the course RPS. Learning evaluation is also carried out as well as possible and feedback to students is provided before final grades are submitted. All lecturers also need to use their time effectively and efficiently so that lectures and practicums can run well.

The construction of the new MIPA Faculty building which is equipped with various equipment is almost complete, although it is slightly behind the original schedule. It is hoped that the inauguration can take place around February or March 2019. After that, the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty must immediately push itself for various best achievements.

2019 will also be a historic year, because the MIPA Faculty has reached 30 years. Various series of activities in the context of the 6th lustrum will be carried out between February- October 2019 and details will be released in the near future.
