Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Syiah Kuala University (USK) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to review the 2022-2023 integrity zone development work plan document. This activity will take place on June 8 2022 at The Pade Hotel, Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar.
This FGD was attended by the FMIPA USK Integrity Zone Development (ZI) team and was also attended by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Teuku M. Iqbalsyah, S.Sc., M.Sc., and opened by USK Vice Chancellor II, Prof. Marwan Ramli, M. Si.
The Vice Chancellor hopes that the ZI which has been launched at FMIPA will ignite the enthusiasm of other work units within USK to immediately implement or strive for the development of this integrity zone. Marwan also said that USK was committed to supporting this activity. On this basis, the ZI team carried out an FGD to review the 2022-2023 integrity zone development action plan document.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FMIPA, in his speech, said that FMIPA USK has been working towards achieving the integrity zone since 2021. Even though it has not yet achieved the desired results, in 2022 FMIPA USK remains enthusiastic about achieving integrity zone status.
The FGD presented resource person M. Ali Akbar, Secretary of the ZI Team of the Directorate General of Higher Education, who conveyed the direction of the ZI development policy in higher education and the critical points in preparing the ZI document, as well as Untung Setyo Margono, Head of Internal Compliance Division-Kanwil of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in Aceh, who shared experience regarding strategies for preparing ZI development plans, implementation and supervision.
The ZI FMIPA USK team hopes that the FGD conducted will provide more focused insight in compiling documents to achieve the 2022-2023 integrity zone.
