FMIPA USK Invites Graduates Again to Receive Medals

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Syiah Kuala University (USK) invites its graduates back in the framework of the Alumni Gathering of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University . The event which took place on Wednesday (10/8/2022) in the USK FMIPA hall was opened directly by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dr. Teuku M. Iqbalsyah. M.Sc and attended by deputy deans, as well as heads of departments within FMIPA.

On that occasion, the Dean handed over graduation medals to the 86 alumni who were present, they were graduates in 2020-2022. This was done considering that alumni who graduated that year could not take part in the local judicium/graduation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dr. Teuku M. Iqbalsyah. M.Sc, in his speech said that FMIPA is currently working to build an integrity zone. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is the representative of Syiah Kuala University in this matter. FMIPA was appointed by the Chancellor to start building the integrity zone last year. So it is very necessary for FMIPA to strive hard to produce graduates with integrity. Not only do graduates have a high GPA, but they also have commendable character.

Apart from that, two alumni were also present to provide motivation to the graduates, namely Fuadri from the Chair of the PAN DPRA Fraction, an alumnus of the Chemistry Department, class of 1999, then Adista Amaliyah, an alumnus of the Physics Department, class of 2017, who is the Managing Director. PT. AMGRO. The two alumni hope that USK FMIPA graduates will be able to compete in the world of work, by equipping themselves with the knowledge gained while studying on campus and the knowledge gained outside campus.
