Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Syiah Kuala University (USK) represented by Deputy Dean I FMIPA, Dr. Nasrullah Zaini, S.Si., M.Si., M.Sc released a group of Informatics students who will carry out community service on the island of Aceh, Aceh Besar Regency for four days on 1-4 September 2022. The send-off event took place on Wednesday (31/8/2022) in the lobby of the FMIPA USK auditorium building which was also attended by the Head of the Informatics Department, Dr. Muhammad Subianto, S.Si, M.Si, Secretary of Jurasan Ir. Irvanizam, S.Si, M.Sc, Study Program Coordinator Viska Mutiawani, B.IT, M.IT, and assistant lecturer in Informatics serving Alim Misbullah, S.Si., MS
Vice Dean I of FMIPA, Nasrullah Zaini, in his speech said that the leadership of FMIPA welcomed and provided full support to Informatics students in carrying out community service, “Informatics Serves”: in the context of building information technology which is a solution and educative to modernize the people of Aceh Island, Aceh Besar district. It is hoped that this service activity can run well so that it becomes a role model for the development of IT-based smart villages in Aceh Province.
