The Electronics Engineering Diploma Study Program (D3TE) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Syiah Kuala University (USK) was visited by the Independent Engineering Accreditation Institute (LAMTEK) to check its accreditation documents. The event which will take place at FMIPA on Thursday and Friday, 20-21 October 2022 will determine the D3 TE Study Program Accreditation score for the next five years. The Accreditation process was opened by the Dean of FMIPA USK, Prof. Dr. Teuku Mohamad Iqbalsyah, S.Si, M.Sc. The LAMTEK team present were Syafrizal Syarief and Tresna Dewi.
Coordinator of the USK FMIPA Electrical Engineering Study Program, Dr. M. Syukri Surbakti, S.Si., M.Si. explained that preparations for accreditation carried out by the D3TE Study Program had started last year. The accreditation preparation process is carried out by forming an accreditation team. This team consists of several lecturers who are Persons in Charge (PIC). Their task is to prepare documents and evidence for the Self Evaluation Report (LED).
The D3TE study program previously had an accreditation score of B from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). Along with the transfer of accreditation assessment from BAN PT to the Mandiri Accreditation Institute, the D3TE Study Program is the first in the USK Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences to propose accreditation.
