The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Syiah Kuala University (USK) held Service Excellence Training for Staff within the USK FMIPA environment. This activity took place on Monday, February 20 2023 at the Oasis Hotel, Lueng Bata, Banda Aceh City.
This training was attended by 21 people from Education Personnel and 4 people from the Security Unit (SATPAM). The training activity was opened by the Dean of FMIPA USK Prof. Dr. Teuku M. Iqbalsyah, S.Si, M.Sc., with moderator Dr.rer.nat. Ilham Maulana, S.Si as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Partnerships FMIPA USK.
In his speech, the Dean of FMIPA USK said that this Service Excellence training activity was the first to be carried out at the USK Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in order to realize excellent service and support the implementation of the development of the Corruption Free Area Integrity Zone (WBK) and the Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) which is currently being intensified. at USK MIPA faculty level. Through this activity, participants can strengthen human resources (HR) in communicating and serving customers.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Administration Section, Husaini, S.Si., MM, in his speech said that this training aims to provide insight and direction to the participants so that they can provide excellent service in the Integrated Service Unit to students, academics and the surrounding community.
This training presents two resource persons who are very competent in their fields. The first resource person, Mr. Muzakkir from (Area Operations & Service Manager) BSI Banda Aceh Area who shared his experiences about communication in service. The second resource person was Mr. Saiful Mahya as Regional Service Quality Officer of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Aceh Area. with the theme of material fulfilling service aspects to realize service excellence.
FMIPA USK was officially founded in 1993, but its roots have existed since 1989. Currently, FMIPA USK has five Master’s Study Programs, seven Bachelor’s Study Programs, one Pharmacist Professional Study Program, and two Diploma Study Programs (D-III). Since 2021, FMIPA has implemented the construction of an integrity zone to create a faculty that is free from corruption/clean and accountable bureaucracy and provides excellent public services for the USK FMIPA academic community, including students, lecturers, alumni and stakeholders.
