The Inspectorate General (IG) Team of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) carried out an evaluation process on the construction of an Integrity Zone Towards an Area Free from Corruption and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (ZI-WBK/WBBM) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University (FMIPA USK ), in Banda Aceh, Wednesday to Friday (10-12/5/2023).
The Kemdikbudristek Inspector General team, chaired by Salwin MD, consists of two auditors, namely Dasuki (Junior Auditor) and Achmad Chairi (First Auditor).
This group was welcomed directly by the Chancellor of USK who was represented by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agussabti, M.Si., IPU and Prof. Dr. Marwan, S.Si, Deputy Chancellor for Resources and Finance who is also Chair of the USK Bureaucratic Reform Team, as well as Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. TM Iqbalsyah, M.Sc.
This meeting was also attended directly by the USK Reform Team, and the entire ZI FMIPA USK Development Team.
In his speech, Agussabti explained that the appointment of the MIPA Faculty was based on the consideration that this faculty was better prepared to build an integrity zone. This is because FMIPA is an innovative work unit in serving the community. Apart from that, the commitment of the FMIPA leadership is also the reason why this faculty was appointed to be a pilot project in developing this Integrity Zone.
Meanwhile, in the presentation of FMIPA ZI development material carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, it was stated that various strategies had been developed for each area of ZI leverage. Iqbalsyah really hopes that this year, WBK status at FMIPA USK can be realized.
“Honestly, I am very happy with the development of ZI at FMIPA. Not only because of the WBK or WBBM status, but we really need good practices to show our integrity in providing services.

FMIPA has launched ZI development since last year, and is the only work unit at USK that has carried out ZI development so far.
