P3KKN Holds a Briefing to Provide the Necessary Knowledge and Skills for Students

The Center for Community Services and Development (P3KKN) Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) organized a briefing event for KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) students. The event, held at the AAC Dayyan Dawood Building, was officially opened by USK Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan, and attended by several key officials, including the main speaker, Acting Regent of Aceh Besar, Muhammad Iswanto, SSTP, MM.

  • 5 participants for National KKN
  • 17 participants for International KKN

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) USK also sent 87 students who will implement appropriate technology that can be used in villages.

This period’s Regular KKN theme is “Strengthening MSMEs and SIGAP, and Utilizing Village Potential to Reduce and Prevent Stunting”. This theme aims to make a tangible contribution to developing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and optimizing village potential to reduce and prevent stunting in the community.

Several influential figures were present during the briefing, including the Chairman of the USK Senate, Prof. Dr. Ir. Abubakar, MS, Head of DPMG Aceh Besar, Carbaini, Deputy Chair of LPPM USK, Dr. Dra. Sulastri, M.Si, Directorate Directors, Faculty Leaders, UPT Heads, Location Coordinators (KOSI), and Field Supervisors (DPL).

The briefing is a platform for the students to gain sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively implement the KKN program. It is their responsibility to apply the knowledge they have acquired during their studies to offer real solutions to the problems faced by the community.

This event not only strengthens the collaboration between USK and the local government but also marks an important step in efforts to improve the quality of life of the community through sustainable empowerment programs, instilling a sense of pride and optimism in all stakeholders.
