
Banda Aceh, August 5, 2024 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) at Syiah Kuala University (USK) has once again demonstrated its prowess in the field of achievements with two outstanding accomplishments by students from the Department of Statistics.
Balqis Naiziha Maulina, an outstanding student from the Department of Statistics, Faculty of MIPA-USK, was selected as Duta Genre Putri Aceh 2024. This award recognizes her dedication and commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and inspiring young people to think critically and act positively. As Duta Genre, Balqis is expected to be a role model, motivating other students to participate in social and community activities.

On the other hand, Rizki Mulia, a student from the Department of Statistics, Faculty of MIPA, who is also known for his active participation in various academic and non-academic activities, has been selected as a participant in the UTM International Summer School Program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia 2024. This program is one of the prestigious international programs that provides opportunities for students from various countries to learn together and expand their global networks. Rizki’s participation in this program will enrich his knowledge and bring pride to Syiah Kuala University on the international stage.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnerships of the Faculty of MIPA expressed pride in the achievements of Balqis and Rizki. “We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students. This is proof that MIPA students, especially from the Department of Statistics, are capable of competing and excelling at various levels, both locally and internationally. We hope they can serve as role models for other students to continue striving for excellence and personal growth in the future,” he said.
The achievements of Balqis Naiziha Maulina and Rizki Mulia are a testament to the fact that with hard work, dedication, and a spirit of continuous learning, every student can achieve extraordinary things. Hopefully, this news can inspire more students to achieve excellence.
