Two FMIPA-USK Students Embark on International Credit Transfer Program to Malaysia

Banda Aceh, August 6, 2024—Fatita Quzza and Willy Jonathan Arsyad, two outstanding students from the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Syiah Kuala University (USK), have been selected to participate in the International Credit Transfer (ICT) program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

This prestigious program, funded by BELMAWA-DIKTI through the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at USK, is a testament to the university’s commitment to providing its students with global academic exposure. The selection process involved submitting a proposal and securing a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the host university.

During the send-off, the Rector of Syiah Kuala University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan, emphasized the importance of maximizing this opportunity, encouraging the students to excel in their academic pursuits, and actively engaging in seminars and other activities organized by the partner university. The Rector further advised them to study abroad at renowned universities, which could significantly enhance their academic and professional profiles.
