Banda Aceh – May 21, 2025 With renewed spirit and passion, the BERAPI program returned once again—this time in collaboration with the Master’s Program in Statistics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), in a meaningful partnership carrying the theme “Forging Civil Servants with a Socio-Sciencepreneurial Spirit.”
Held at the Teuku Umar Hall and broadcast live via Zoom, the event brought together civil servants from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) across Aceh. Their participation marked a collective move toward nurturing a culture of lifelong learning and strengthening the transformation of civil servants into adaptive agents of change in today’s fast-evolving landscape.
This session featured a keynote address by Dr. Munawar, M.App.Stats., a lecturer from the Master’s Program in Statistics at FMIPA USK. In his inspiring talk, Dr. Munawar encouraged the participants to consider furthering their studies, particularly in the field of statistics—a discipline that has become increasingly vital in our current data-driven era.

“When passion drives you, workspaces and classrooms are no longer separate worlds—they empower each other,” Dr. Munawar emphasized. He underscored the importance of cultivating a socio-sciencepreneur mindset: the ability to blend social sensitivity, scientific capability, and entrepreneurial vision to craft impactful public policies.
The event showcased a powerful synergy between academia and government institutions, working hand in hand to shape civil servants who are not only technically proficient but also visionary, solution-oriented, and innovative.
Carrying the resonant message “If passion has sparked, I will go wherever it leads—into workspaces or classrooms,” BERAPI proves to be more than just a learning platform. It is a shared space for growth, fostering empowered, critical-thinking civil servants ready to serve the nation with greater meaning and impact.
