The team, consisting of Eva Firzha, Fara Ardila, and Leni Gustia, impressed the judges with their creative and impactful data visualization, which centered around the theme:
“The Leuser Ecosystem (KEL) in the Eyes of the Youth: Contributing Through Data for Nature and the Future”
This competition challenged young Indonesians to process and visualize data in ways that raise awareness about the importance of protecting the Leuser Ecosystem. Entries were evaluated based on creativity, data accuracy, and the strength of the visual storytelling.
As the 3rd place winners, the FMIPA USK team received a certificate of achievement and a cash prize, adding to the growing list of national-level accomplishments by FMIPA students.
The Dean of FMIPA USK expressed pride in the students’ achievement, highlighting it as a reflection of the faculty’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and real-world impact.
“We are extremely proud of this achievement. It serves as an inspiration for other students to keep innovating, think critically, and make meaningful contributions to environmental awareness through science,” the Dean stated.
