FMIPA USK Team Wins Bronze Medal at National Essay Competition in Yogyakarta

Banda Aceh – Another proud achievement has been made by students of Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). A team from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) successfully secured 3rd Place (Bronze Medal) at the Sustainable Innovations Essay Competition (SINEC) held in Yogyakarta on August 9–10, 2025.

This prestigious competition brought together students from various universities across Indonesia to present creative and innovative ideas in the form of essays, particularly in the Implementative Idea category. The FMIPA USK team stood out with their innovative concept, which was considered to have real potential in contributing to sustainable development.

The Dean of FMIPA USK, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si., M.
