
Banda Aceh, September 23, 2025 – The Department of Statistics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Syiah Kuala University (USK), reaffirmed its leading role in statistical education with its annual Statistic Explore 2025 event. The event successfully drew the attention of hundreds of students, becoming a vital platform to inspire and enhance their understanding of the importance of statistics in the data-driven era.
The vibrant event, held at the FMIPA USK Auditorium, was officially opened by the Dean of FMIPA USK, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si., M. Tech. In his opening speech, Prof. Taufik emphasized that statistics is not just a collection of numbers, but a fundamental tool for understanding real-world phenomena and making evidence-based decisions.
