We all understand that the Covid-19 Pandemic is not over. In the last two semesters, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIP A) Syiah Kuala University (USK) implemented an online learning system. Referring to the results of the survey of students and the evaluation we conducted, we concluded that the online learning system was not effective in developing the komotorikcompetence (skills) and the affective competence (attitudesand values) of the participants educate.
Taking into account the Joint Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, Minister of Religion, Minister of Health, and Minister of Home Affairs regarding Guidelines for Organizing Learning in the 2020/2021 Academic Year and 2020/2021 Academic Year during the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) Pandemic, as well as the Letter USK Chancellor’s Circular Number B/6108/UNI l/PK00.03/2020 Concerning the Implementation of Learning in the Even Semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year, then in the Even Semester 2020/2021, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, USK will begin again implementing a face-to-face learning system for students of the Class of 2019 clan 2020 for some courses that need to develop students’ psychomotor and affective competencies.
In its implementation, we will ensure that health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid 19 will be implemented strictly. The health protocols that will be implemented are reducing the number of participants in classrooms, carrying out body temperature checks, ensuring that everyone in the building wears masks and regularly washes their hands, reducing physical interactions, and asking students’ guardians to supervise.
Therefore, we really hope that you will give permission to your child/guardian to take part in the learning that will be implemented. Your willingness is conveyed by filling in the following online form. Parents/guardians who do not fill out the form by January 30 2021 are deemed to agree to their children/guardians taking part in offline learning.
