FMIPA USK Achieves Outstanding Success at The 11th UTU Awards 2025

Meulaboh – Syiah Kuala University (USK) has once again made history at The 11th UTU Awards 2025, hosted by Teuku Umar University (UTU) in Meulaboh. In the Online Store Design category, USK students from the Informatics Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) dominated the competition by winning First, Second, and Third Place, a clean sweep that showcased their remarkable talent and innovation on the national stage.

During the grand final, the Informatics students impressed the judges with their creativity, cutting-edge ideas, and strong technical skills. Their projects stood out not only for their functionality but also for their appealing designs and well-thought-out digital business strategies.

The First Place was awarded to a team that introduced a visionary online store concept integrating the latest technology. The Second Place went to a team that presented a modern, user-friendly e-commerce platform, while the Third Place was secured by another Informatics team with an innovative approach to designing a practical and responsive marketplace.

This achievement highlights USK’s growing reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading universities, consistently producing creative and forward-thinking graduates who are ready to compete in the digital era.

Dean of FMIPA USK, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Si., M.Tech, praised the students for their remarkable accomplishments.

“This success is clear evidence of the exceptional creativity and innovation of USK students. We hope their achievement will inspire others to continue exploring new ideas and contributing meaningfully to the nation’s progress,” he said.

The UTU Awards, one of Indonesia’s largest entrepreneurship competitions, brings together thousands of innovative business ideas from universities across the country every year.
