Four study programs under FMIPA USK—Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics—have successfully obtained the prestigious “EXCELLENT” Accreditation Rating for the 2026–2031 period. This accomplishment reflects the faculty’s continuous commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and the advancement of science and technology education.
The accreditation achievement serves as a testament to the collective efforts of lecturers, administrative staff, students, alumni, and institutional partners who have worked tirelessly to enhance the quality of education, research, and community engagement within the faculty. The accreditation process comprehensively evaluates various aspects of academic performance, including curriculum quality, faculty qualifications, research productivity, governance, student outcomes, and institutional development.

We hope this success will inspire other faculties and study programs within USK to continue pursuing excellence and innovation,” stated Prof. Mirza.
According to the Rector, accreditation should not be viewed as an end goal, but rather as an important milestone in a continuous journey of quality improvement. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting the development of human resources, educational infrastructure, research excellence, and innovation that can generate meaningful impacts for society.
The achievement is expected to further strengthen FMIPA USK’s position as one of Indonesia’s leading science faculties. Beyond enhancing institutional credibility, the accreditation will also provide greater opportunities for academic collaboration, research partnerships, student mobility programs, and graduate employability in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
As FMIPA USK celebrates this accomplishment, the faculty remains focused on its mission of producing highly competent graduates, advancing scientific knowledge, and contributing to sustainable national development. With a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, FMIPA USK is poised to further elevate its role as a center of excellence in science education and research for years to come.
