APTFI, IAI, and USK Deploy Pharmacy Professional Students to Aceh Tamiang Flood Disaster Area

BIREUEN – The Indonesian Association of Higher Education in Pharmacy (APTFI), in collaboration with the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) through its Disaster Response Pharmacists (Apoteker Tanggap Bencana/ATB) program, officially deployed students from the Pharmacist Professional Education Program (PSPPA) to the flood-affected area of Aceh Tamiang on Monday (February 2, 2026). The deployment marks the initial phase of a gradual, multi-batch student assignment to the disaster site. 40 Students Pass Pharmacist Professional Program Selection, Ready for Practice Placements Across Institutions

A total of 40 students have officially passed the Pharmacist Professional Program selection after undergoing a rigorous selection process. From 75 applicants, they successfully completed the administrative screening, a Computer-Based Test (CBT), and an interview stage. The selected participants come from a variety of undergraduate pharmacy institutions across Indonesia, including from the provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau, and Jakarta.
